Albert Court Limited was officially introduced to the equestrian world as the site of the 1992 Volvo Grand Prix Opening ceremonies party.
Albert Court riders recorded the highest ever placing by a West Coast horse-rider combination in the history of the World Cup. Since then ACL riders have enjoyed a tremendous amount of success in top level competitions all over the world.
There have been numerous Grand Prix champions and several Olympians who have trained there. Eastern Knight, an ACL owned horse, successfully competed in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and completed a successful showing at the 1998 World Equestrian Games in Italy.
As its crowning achievement, Eastern Knight, ridden by Saudi Arabian Khaled Al-Eid, won the Bronze Medal in the Individual Competition of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
USA Bronze medalist (Atlanta, Sydney and Athens) Gunter Seidel currently boards and trains at the facility. Sydney Olympian Christine Traurig is a resident trainer as well.
For Grand Prix athletes with Olympic-caliber ambitions, Albert Court Ltd. is the choice of the new generation of riders.
